I live in an old manor house near Krakow with my husband and three children. The house’s builders united our families for the first time many years ago. Its central space is made up of the kitchen combined with the dining room where we tend to spend most of the time. It is here that we welcome our friends, guests and stranded tourists, or anybody who happens to knock on our door. Cooking has always been a pleasure for me. I was able to discover new flavours and dishes during my summer holidays and stays abroad. A large vegetable garden, an orchard and the possibility to source various food products from our neighbours living close and further away have proven major advantages of living in the countryside. In spring, we abandon our dining room for the southern porch or set up a table in the park among trees. Occasionally, the house is swarmed by wedding guests or people attending another large event that we hold with the help of our friends so that it always feels like home. Many have come to appreciate the space and magic of the venue, our commitment and good kitchen and, hopefully, so will you. You are welcome to visit Goszyce! We will take care of the rest.

Mieszkam z mężem i trójką dzieci w starym dworze pod Krakowem, którego budowniczowie wiele lat temu po raz pierwszy połączyli nasze rodziny. Jego centralnym miejscem jest kuchnia połączona z jadalnią, w której spędzamy najwięcej czasu. To tutaj przyjmujemy przyjaciół, gości, przypadkowych turystów, słowem wszystkich, którzy do nas trafią. Gotowanie zawsze sprawiało mi przyjemność a wakacyjne podróże i zagraniczne pobyty pozwalały odkrywać nowe smaki i kolejne potrawy. Duży ogród warzywny, sad owocowy, możliwość zaopatrywania się u bliższych i dalszych sąsiadów w różne produkty okazało się wielką zaletą mieszkania na wsi. Na wiosnę stół z jadalni zamieniamy na ten na południowym ganku lub stawiamy go na trawniku w parku wśród drzew. Czasami przez dom przetoczy się wesele znajomych lub jakaś liczniejsza impreza, którą przygotowujemy z pomocą przyjaciół, żeby zawsze było po domowemu. Przestrzeń, magia tego miejsca i dobra kuchnia wielu się już spodobała, więc mam nadzieję, że i Państwo docenicie nasz wysiłek. Przyjeżdżajcie a my zajmiemy się resztą!

J’habite avec mon mari et trois enfants pas loin de Cracovie dans un vieux manoir, dont les constructeurs ont unis nos familles il y a bien longtemps.

La cuisine et la salle à manger y tiennent une place centrale où on passe le plus de temps. C’est ici que nous accueillons nos amis, nos invités ainsi que les touristes fortuits qui nous decouvrent.

Faire de la cuisine était toujours un plaisir pour moi et les voyages à l’étranger m’ont permis de découvrir des saveurs nouvelles et des plats intéressants.

Le grand potager, le verger, la possibilité de trouver les produits différents chez les voisins proches et plus éloignés s’est avéré le grand avantage de vivre dans la campagne.

Au printemps la table de la salle à manger est échangée contre celle de la véranda sud où placée sur le gazon sous les arbres.

De temps en temps ce sont les noces ou une fête plus nombreuse préparée avec l’aide des amis mais toujours en gardant le côté „maison”.

Puisque plusieurs personnes ont déjà admiré l’espace, la magie de ce lieu et la bonne cuisine, j’espère que vous aussi vous allez apprécier nos efforts.
