I'm an avid traveller and explorer of places, tastes, cultures and

people connections.

Couple years ago I quit my job in IT and went on self-discovering

journey around the World. Travelling for 2 years in Asia and Oceania, spend most of my time among locals, cooking with them and searching for their hidden ingredients of joy and happiness. I believe that the best way to learn about new places, people and

their culture is just by sitting with them around the table.

Currently, I'm doing what I'm most passionate about - educating people about wellness

and running vegan & gluten free workshops. I gained cooking experience in

restaurants both in Poland and abroad, moreover by cooking with local people around the World. I'm interested in holistic approach to medicine, especially mind-body

connection. I went through wellness coaching training in Australia and lived &

meditated with monks in Asia. I love to run events and share what I've learned.

Amazing experience! It was literally great! I'm not a good cook, but thanks to Alicja, everything went easy and with fun! Pierogi were tasty and looked like from restaurant! Great way to spend time!

'Learn how to make Polish dumplings' was at the top of the to-do list when me and my friend visited Cracow earlier this week. We found this class with Alicja when searching online and couldn't have had a better experience!

Alicja met up with us near her flat, showed us around and told us some of the area's interesting history. We then went back to hers where we were introduced to her self-created cookbook which included pierogi cooking tips, fun facts and even a list of useful Polish words (she later emailed us this as a pdf).

Before we started cooking we did a mindfulness exercise together which me and my friend both really appreciated. It was super relaxing and a lovely way of clearing your head! And the actual cooking that followed was fab. We did everything from scratch and learnt all the steps properly. We made both boiled and fried dumplings which we got to eat at the end of the session, along with some salads that we had also made. The dumplings were SO good, much better than the ones we had had in a restaurant previously.. The filling was a classic mix of mashed potatoes, pickled gherkin and fried onion, so tasty we could have had just that on its own.

All in all, this class was brilliant and Alicja was an amazing host. She's very easy going and lovely to hang out with, and basically made us feel like we were just chilling at a friend's house.

Highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking for an authentic Polish cooking experience!
