I'm a young cook from Germany who now lives in Krakow for a year. I moved here with my girlfriend after I finished my apprenticeship. Ever since I was young I've been interested in food and cooking. Which also brought me to working in gastronomy and gave me the chance to expanded my knowledge about food, technique and the culture behind it all. For the last 3 years I've been baking my own bread, and have become confident in my abilities to do so. I try to explore many different techniques from cuisines all over the world and understand the methods behind as well as the similarities between them. I like to meet new people who are, at least for some part, interested in food, and do believe that cooking and eating together brings different cultures closer to one another.

That Saturday morning definitely exceeded my expectations. A lot of useful information and a lovely group of people, nice talks while baking bread. The best way to start your weekend :)

I cannot recommend Robert's 'Bread & Breakfast' highly enough. Not only is he a professional cook, but he's also a knowledgeable, patient and talented teacher. I knew a bit about sourdough baking, but Robert gave me lots of tips and ideas for how to improve. It far exceeded my expectations - if I could give him and his girlfriend more than 10 stars, I would. Thank you Robert!

Wow, Wow and Wow. My 2 friends and I had a fabulous time learning the art of baking sourdough bread. We very much enjoyed our experience with Robert and would 100% recommend this workshop. Robert was so welcoming and provided great instruction. He also generously prepared an amazing breakfast with lots of trimmings and we added a lovely bottle of Prosecco to toast our baking skills over breakfast. I can highly recommended the pear honey that he also makes...what a legend. My family and I enjoyed trying our baked bread on the weekend with our own brunch and it was truly a success with the. Thank you for opening your home and teaching us the art of bread making.

The class is small so you get lots of attention and can really participate. Robert is a professional cook/chef. His baking class demystifies baking-breaking it down into steps and having us participate in kneading the dough. This is a great class for home chefs who want to learn how to bake.

I really enjoyed this event and would highly recommend it even if you are a novice to a well seasoned cook! Being a complete novice to baking in general, I found Robert to be very pleasant and a fountain of information and an excellent host. The bread is super soft with an crunchy crust and the table spread was delicious. I cannot wait to bake my own sourdough bread!
