Hello, I am Ardeshir and I live one hours drive North of Krakow, near Ksiaz Wielki in a beautiful little village, Lazy. I am trying to run a small farm and preserve a small local forest that I purchased in 2013. Though I am not certified Eco Farm, I do not spray any chemicals, however, once a year I have to use magnesium fertilizer as my soil is seriously deficient in Mg. Other soil mineral needs are met by my own compost and neighbour's manure. In the forest I am creating as much habitat areas as I can with my limited finance. I am passionate about the environment and believe that we should walk gently on this planet, living in harmony with nature. Hence I feel privileged to have a forest in my name, which I can look after and in return I feel the embrace of nature as I walk through it. I hope you will feel the same when you visit the forest.

Cooking is something I learnt when I left home and realized that Mummy is no longer cooking, and if I did not cook I will go hungry. Over the last 25 years I have learnt a lot about cooking from my various family members and friends as well as by doing experiments. I hope you will enjoy my food as much as I do.

If you have kids, bring them along, they can feed the chickens and ducks and collect eggs from the chicken pen.
