For many years, associated with hospitality, gastronomy and viticulture in the USA. She ran a number of upscale restaurants in Memphis, Tennessee, and Colorado which every year received awards for the best restaurants in their category.

Monika trained as a sommelier in Denver, Colorado where she earned her sommelier diploma with the International Sommelier Guild. She also has a WSET Advanced Certificate from London’s Wine and Spirit Education Trust. From the United States Monika went on a two-year contract to Thailand. She worked at the Six Senses Resorts & Spa – one of the leaders in innovation and ecology of hotel where she became president of the Wine Purchasing Committee of Six Senses Group worldwide. In Poland, Monika founded the School of Sommeliers and is president of the Association ‘Kobiety i Wino’.
