The Grey Table

I cook international meals based on fresh local ingredients, which will change according to the seasons and depend on which ingredients are available throughout the year. I can host up to 10 guests in my home in Krakow, and I have experience cooking food for guests who have particular needs, such as a gluten-free diet. Please join me as my guest!

The meal will vary, depending on the time of the year, and the availability of fresh produce. In general, it will be along the following lines:

Beetroot, pea, vegetable or tomato cream soup starter

Beetroot, spinach, fruit or pear and rucola quiche (suitable for vegan / gluten-fee diet)

Humus, guacamole, rucola and sunflower dips

Carrot and seed salad

Various cabbage dishes (white, red or Italian)

Lamb or duck meat course

Tiramisu, Panna cotta, home-made ice-cream or meringue with cream and fruit

Hello! My idea of cooking is that it must be healthy, which means using ingredients of the highest quality, with no artificial additives at all, plenty of fresh and dried herbs, and Himalayan salt. Root vegetables are central to my cooking, the best being our own Polish ones, such as carrots, parsnips, celery and beetroot.

At the same time, I cook lots of meals with a low glucose index, which basically means avoiding wheat and sugar. So I am very happy to cook for anyone who has special dietary requirements.
