Traditional kettle on open fire

Enjoy with us a Hungarian beef stew (Pörkölt) cooked for 6 hours in a kettle (bogracs) on an open fire in our fantastic relaxing garden in the hills of Budapest. Welcome drink, Palinka ( Hungarian schnapps),magnificent Hungarian wines, non alcoholic drinks, coffee, tea, water, bread, small bites and good company included. Everything unlimited. IWe are easily reachable by public transport, less than 20 minutes from the centre of Budapest. We will pick you up at the bus stop. If the weather is not like what we hope for, there is plenty of space inside or on the terrace under the roof with heaters.

We Nori & Hille are a couple from Hungary and Holland. We live in Budapest, have a company of recruitment but next to working together we also cook eat and invite people to eat with. We live in Budapest with my daughter, 4 cats and a dog in a house with a garden and a kitchen where we actually live and where we can cook and eat together. We often improvise while listening to music and make a fusion of different cuisines that influenced us during our travels in the world. Friends actually expect every now and then to come over for a dinner. Through the love of cooking and eating together we also make connections, new faces are also welcome at the table.
